For the first time, we conducted a patient demonstration outside the hospital or clinical setting. The workshop was a success, and we thank the nurses for actively engaging with every concept you learned and for validating certain dressing principles that you’ve been applying for a long time—principles that actually contradict current tissue movement and wound healing knowledge. We hope this shed some light and will help improve your practice.

To the chief nurses and supervisors who sent their staff to be empowered—especially those losing sleep over the increasing number of Pseudomonas cases in chronic wounds—I hear your concerns through your staff. We are here to help, just as we’ve done in several hospitals. Now that the gate of change has opened, let’s partner in healing, while respecting the hierarchy from top to bottom.
